Ikebana “Jiyuka- Green Sun shade, Syoka-Tango no sekku”
May 19, 2015 @ 10:00 - 12:00
Some say the Japanese attitude toward floral arrangement is deeper and more spiritual than the Western approach to floral design. Ikebana arrangements strive to express the wondrous creations of Nature, on a reduced scale. This course aims to explore the foundations of Ikebana and to provide an introduction to the techniques used. Each class will learn two styles of Ikebana, Jiyuka (Free style) and Syoka (Classical style) using seasonal flowers, leaves and branches. This course is limited to 6 places of all abilities. You will enjoy another view about floral composition.
